I plant “sweat heat” hot peppers in my garden specifically for this recipe, because, we are a little wimpy when it comes to hot stuff. Jalapeno peppers or other hot peppers will work for those of you that like more heat.
I clean the peppers, remove the seeds and cut in half lengthwise, then lay them in a glass baking dish.
Depending on how big your peppers are, and how many you are using you would alter the amount of stuffing you need to use. For this recipe, I used ½ brick of cream cheese and about a cup of fresh cheese curd cut into small pieces.
Mix the cream cheese, and the cheese curd in a bowl and add a dash of garlic powder, (or some fresh garlic), and then add a splash of lime juice.
How do you like my measurements in this recipe????!!!
Spoon in some of the filling mixture into the peppers, place in a 350 degree oven and bake until they are somewhat brown on top.
There you have it, deelliicciioouuss! How easy is that?
